To find out, Mercer Human Resource Consulting, which provides advice to multinational companies on international assignments, has come up with a global ranking of the world’s most livable cities based on 39 key quality-of-life issues. They include political stability, currency-exchange regulations, political and media censorship, school quality, housing, the environment and public safety. Mercer collected the data between September and November of 2006 and considered 215 cities around the globe. Switzerland’s main commercial and cultural center, Zurich, topped the list this year, followed by Geneva, and Vancouver and Vienna, which tied for third. Heading south to Pennsylvania, tour the old capital – Philadelphia, you will see Old Capitol Building, the new home for Liberty Bell, and visit the Independence Hall – the historic site of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Tour Baltimore in the afternoon, visit Fort McHenry Monument, and the Inner Harbor. Arrive Washington D.C. in the evening.

• Day 3 D.C. Full Day Tour

• Day 5 Niagara Falls – Boston
  Walk along Goat Island of the Niagara Falls, you can stand just next to the spectacular waterfalls and watch them fall down 176 feet. Take the Maid of the Mist * boat ride, a breathtaking experience of confronting the huge falls and its thunderous sound. Leave Niagara Falls to Boston, and arrive Boston in the evening to enjoy a famous Boston lobster dinner.

• Day 6 Boston – Hometown via Boston or New York:
  Tour the historic city – Boston. In the morning, visit Harvard University, M.I.T., through Boston Common, State House, take Boston Harbor Cruise* to enjoy the view and listen to the history of the city and the oldest battle ship “USS Constitution”. After enjoying a multi-cultural atmosphere in Quincy Market, tour ends around noon time, transfer to Logan Airport (Please book flights depart BOS after 3pm) and then proceed to New York (Please book flights depart JFK/LGA after 8:30 pm)

After that we will visit the Horseshoe Falls, American Falls, Bridal Veil Falls, Imax Movie, Sky Dome Tower. In the afternoon we depart Niagara Falls for Toronto. We will visit the World’s Tallest Tower “CN Tower”, Sky-Dome Sports Complex, City Hall, University of Toronto, and Ontario Parliament Building. Dinner in Chinatown. Overnight in Toronto Area (Delta Hotel East or similar)
• Day 6 Toronto – Thousand Island – Ottawa – Montreal
  Morning departure from Toronto to Thousand Island where you may enjoy an optional relaxing boat ride along the world famous Boldt Castle, Millionaire’s row, and Zavicon Island. (Thousand Island cruise is available during summer) than stop at “Ottawa” the capital of Canada. We will have a short tour of Parliaments Building, Centennial Flame, Peace Tower, Monument, Embassy District and Rideau Canal. Arrive the world’s second largest French-Speaking city, Montreal City where European buildings, shops, and French signs are every where. • Day 7 Montreal – Quebec – Boston
  This morning we will visit the City Hall, Catholic Notre Dame and Quebec City. In late afternoon, we will depart for the historic town of Boston. Overnight in Boston Area (Hyatt Cambridge / Marriott or similar)
• Day 8 Boston – Hometown or Boston – New York – Hometown
  Morning Boston city tour – Harvard University, MIT, Charles River, Quincy Market. At noon, proceed to Boston Logan Airport then New York City and transfer to the airports. (Please schedule flights to depart from Boston after 1:00pm or New York/New Jersey after 6:45pm)
